About The Korean Society of Nursing Science

  • The Korean Society of Nursing Science(KSNS) was founded in 1970 as an academic research organization, and currently comprises more than 4,200 nursing scholars.
  • Members include professors, researchers, and nursing leaders from 201 nursing education institutions and nursing-related research centers.
  • The basic goal of the organization is to advance the field of nursing through research and domestic and international academic activities, contribute to the development of new nursing technologies, establish major policies for the improvement of public health, and actively engage inter-organizational exchange.
  • To fulfill these basic objectives, the supports nursing research activities, develops nursing education, Publishes in Journals, and conducts publishing business.
  • The KSNS is composed of the ,the Korean Academy of Fundamentals of Nursing, The Korean Society of Biological Nursing Science, The Korean society of Adult Nursing, The Korean Academy of Child Health Nursing, The Korean Society of Woman Health Nursing, The Korean Academy of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, The Korean Academy of Community Health Nursing, each of which is active In domestic and international academic activities such as Publishing in Journals.
